Colorado is an independent publication about the towns, events and weekends that make this state worth the drive.
We write town guides, keep a statewide events calendar and send one email a week with what's worth doing next. The aim is simple: fewer tabs, better plans.
The calendar pulls from official venue and town listings every day, and an editor reviews each new event before it goes live. Guides are written for people who want the short version: where to eat, where to stay and what you'd regret skipping.
How we work
- 01Every event links to its sourceEach listing points to the organizer's own page. When dates are confirmed we show them; when only the usual season is known, we say so plainly instead of guessing a day.
- 02We cut what we can't confirmIf a venue hasn't announced the act, it doesn't go on the calendar. A shorter list you can trust beats a long one you have to double check.
- 03Paid placements are labeledSome partners pay to reach our readers. Those spots always say so, and they never change what we recommend in a guide.
- 04Corrections are welcomeSpotted a wrong date, a closed restaurant or a road that's shut for the season? Tell us and we'll fix the page.
