Telluride AIDS Benefit Fashion Show
A weekend of pop-up shops, a student show, and the main runway in the Telluride Conference Center. Has run since 1994 and is the largest annual fundraiser in San Miguel County.

Telluride Balloon Festival
About 20 hot-air balloons launch from Town Park and float through the box canyon at 6am. The mass ascension photo is the entire point.

Telluride Wine Festival
Three-day wine event with grand tastings at Mountain Village. Smaller seminars are at the Hotel Telluride and the Peaks.

Third weekend of July
Telluride Nothing Festival
The town's tongue-in-cheek non-festival weekend with no scheduled programming. Locals stay home; many restaurants offer locals' discounts.

Telluride Jazz Festival
A more intimate companion to the bluegrass crowd, with main-stage sets in Town Park and after-hours shows in the Sheridan Opera House.

Telluride Mushroom Festival
Mycology-focused festival running since 1981. Foraging walks in the morning, lectures in the afternoon, fungus parade through town on Saturday.

Mid-October, three days
Telluride Horror Show
Genre-film festival at the Sheridan Opera House and the Nugget Theatre. Half-price weekend passes to Coloradans; sells out by August.
